How do I get started with my Online business?

Posted on 16 January 2008 by Linda Joseph

Internet business, Top Comment: “I don’t know where to start.”

If this is you, then please continue reading. I always recommend that you start by looking at what you know, your experience and your passions. You can find numerous ebooks on how to find a niche but that isn’t the best place for you, at least not your first step.

Step 1 – LIST

Take an inventory of you.
List your passions.
Make a list of everything you know how to do.
Now list all your job experiences.

Step 2 – EVALUATE

Take a look at everything you listed and see if there are any common threads.
Does anything ‘jump out’ at you?
If you have too big of a variety of topics, then pick one passion and see what knowledge and experience correlates.

Step 3 – DECIDE

Why is this so hard?
I spend more time coaching people who are waffling between ideas.
“I like this but I also have an interest in this…”
It is like the Nike slogan: “Just do it!”

Are you going to do it perfectly? NO
Will you have to make changes? YES
This is what I want you to do now:
Step 1
Step 2
Step 3
Write down your answers.

Helping you define YOUR Roadmap to SUCCESS,

Linda

PS Stay tuned for training that will help you get started.

Internet Marketing Explained…

Posted on 11 January 2008 by Linda Joseph

There have been a ton of Internet Marketing and Web20 videos that are flooding my in-box.

The problem is that they are all good content!  The reason why that is bad is because there is too much!
The other problem is that  each is geared for a different level user.

I have been thinking about dividing my training packages into levels:

  • Beginner
  • Intermediate
  • Advanced

As I review this free information, I will categorize it as well as evaluate the content.

Helping you define your roadmap to success,

Linds
