Infographic on Online Storage

As I mentioned in the last post, I have been researching online storage options.  I have been using Dropbox for a few years and I love the service.

However, I think their pricing for storage is a bit high.  So I went with Google Drive and I really don’t like it and so I started doing more research and found SugarSync.  SugarSync is good for certain applications.  (I reviewed how I am using it in the first post on Online Storage.)

Then I found Copy.com!  It works just like DropBox and is way more generous with additional storage!

Online File Storage – Do You Have a Favorite?

Posted on 20 May 2013 by Linda Joseph

I use several different computers and always need access to the latest version of a file.   I used to keep a small flash drive that plugged into the device I was using but that strategy failed when I stadropbox Online Storage File Sharingrted using my Samsung Tablet!
Dropbox has been around for several years and it is very easy to use.  You get 2G of space when you sign up for an account.  You can add storage by paying for it or by completing different tasks.  (More below…)
Needless to say, 2G is not a lot of space!  So I needed to get busy completing their tasks or just paying for an upgrade.  Then I started looking around.
SugarSync looked very interesting.  So I set up an account on my laptop and tablet.  Sugarsync turned out to be great for training I wanted to watch or listen to while traveling.  Before the trip I selected the folders on my computer with the training I wanted to watch and put these on SugarSync.  Next I open my tablet and sync the training folders to the tablet.
sugarsync File storage OnlineNow I am all set to consume the training where ever on the trip and not worry about using bandwidth or a laptop that needs to be recharged.
Google_Drive_Logo_file storageI still needed most space for my online file sharing and storage and before committing to Dropbox, I tried GoogleDrive.  It was less expensive.  I really dislike Google Drive! It takes forever for the file to show up and then the two computers are not in sync.
I do not have time to make sure that the files are in sync!
[NOTE: Wait until you see a price comparison!]
Today I read about Copy, a new service.  I set up an account and it is like Dropbox!!!
You get 15G of space AND it is easy to add space!!
If you sign up through my link, www.MyInternetTutor.com/copy, you will get an additional 5G and so will I!!
If you Tweet about Copy (and they give you the tweet and link) you get an additional 2G.
