Posted on 22 August 2009 by Linda Joseph

I have wanted to try Mike Stewart’s Amazon S3 player but didn’t want to pay the hefty price.  He just put out an offer from the World Inernet Summit and I would pick up the lite version plus a lot more for just $27!

It is very easy to use and here are the results:

How to Add Video to WordPress

In my last post I was trying to use FLV Plugin which has actually been my favorite way to add video. However, I was having trouble with the plugin.

After a couple of email exchanges with their support desk, I think I have it working.

[flvplugin flv=http://training45.s3.amazonaws.com/magic-list-confusion/magic-list-confusion.flv player= buffer=5 autoplay=false loop=false border=true preload=false infobutton=true redirect=http://www.myinternettutor.com/confusion.php]

How to Add Video to WordPress.

Posted on 21 August 2009 by Linda Joseph

The easiest way to insert video in a WordPress is to upload your video to one of the many video hosting sites and use their embed code.  It saves space and bandwidth on your server/hosting and is simple.

There are several plugins, that can also embed video but to be honest I haven’t been real pleased with the free plugins.  The biggest problems is the geeks who write the software are brilliant but have difficulty relating to use mere mortals.

Below I am using the FLV plugin from Athens Software.  This is a paid software and I have just gotten the latest version from support but as still getting these “warnings” below the post.

NOTE: I just removed the video since the plugin gave so many warnings.

I will do some more research and let you know the easiest way to add video without hassle.  (Meanwhile use something like youtube… very simple. That is what I used in the posts below.)
